I tossed my leftover takeout off my balcony because I wasn’t about to walk it all the way down to the trash like it’s some kind of mission.
Didn’t even think twice about it until the next morning when my neighbor is banging on my door like something serious happened. Apparently it landed right on their car, sauce all over the windshield, food stuck everywhere and they’re standing there acting like I vandalized it on purpose.
They kept going on about how I “ruined” their morning and had to clean it before work. I told them straight up if you park directly under someone’s balcony, don’t act shocked when something falls. That’s just common sense. I’m not about to rearrange my life because they chose that spot.
They tried to keep lecturing me about respect and responsibility, so I just shut the door mid sentence. If some spilled pasta on a windshield is enough to ruin your day, then honestly you’ve got bigger problems than me.
