Materials
Plain white fabric drum shade
40 silk hydrangea flowers from the Dollar Store
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Scissors
Directions
Start by laying out your plain white fabric drum shade on a clean, flat surface.
Arrange your silk hydrangea flowers on the lampshade to determine placement before gluing. Experiment with different arrangements until you find a layout that pleases you.
Using the hot glue gun, carefully apply glue to the back of each flower and press it onto the lampshade, starting from the bottom and working your way up. Ensure each flower is securely attached.
Continue gluing the flowers in your desired pattern until the entire lampshade is covered. Make sure there are no gaps between flowers for a lush, full look.
Once all flowers are glued and the glue has dried, check the lampshade for any loose flowers and re-glue if necessary.
Trim any excess floral stems or leaves using scissors to ensure a neat finish.
Allow the lampshade to fully dry before placing it back on the lamp base and turning it on.

Variations & Tips
For a different look, try using different types of silk flowers such as roses or daisies for a varied texture. You can also choose a monochromatic color scheme for a more elegant appearance. If you prefer a subtler effect, space the flowers further apart to let more of the white shade show through. Additionally, you can experiment with adding small LED string lights to the inside of the shade to create a glowing effect through the flowers, adding an enchanting ambiance to your space.
