I know people are human and everyone has rough days, so I\u2019m not trying to punish someone by leaving nothing. But if the service is actually good\u2014attentive, friendly, and everything runs smoothly\u2014I\u2019ll usually go up to around 30%.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">To me that just feels fair. Basic service gets a basic tip, and great service gets rewarded.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Some people say 20% should always be the standard no matter what, while others think tipping culture has gotten completely out of hand. I\u2019m somewhere in the middle.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Now I\u2019m curious\u2014do you stick to one percentage every time, or do you adjust your tip depending on how the service actually is?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If the service is bad, I still leave about 15%.
