I was walking past the courts at the park when I noticed a small metal box filled with basketballs and a big sign that read \u201cplay for free.\u201d It was just sitting out in the open, like everyone passing by would automatically follow the honor system.<\/p>\n
I stopped for a minute because the whole setup feels like something designed by someone who hasn\u2019t really dealt with the general public. I almost picked one up just to see how easy it would be, but I\u2019m more curious how long it\u2019ll last before the box is empty or damaged.
