I walked into the canteen and saw that sign stuck all over the microwave like it was some restricted machine, and a staff member told me I wasn\u2019t allowed to use it because of popcorn. It felt a bit over the top.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>I don\u2019t agree with the way it was handled, but I still ended up making the popcorn anyway. I just don\u2019t think a simple sign should outweigh common sense or the fact that students are paying to be there.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>It can feel like some people in minor positions of authority take things too far sometimes, even when it\u2019s just something as basic as using a microwave.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This school really expects a piece of paper and some tape to control what people do, especially when I\u2019m paying $20,000 to be here.
