That\u2019s what makes this kind of note so wild to me. You walked into someone else\u2019s workplace, sat down, got the service you wanted, took up a table, took up time, took up labor\u2026 and then decided your personal bills were somehow a reason not to compensate the person serving you.<\/p>\n
Like servers don\u2019t have rent.
\nLike servers don\u2019t have kids.
\nLike servers don\u2019t have bills stacking up too.<\/p>\n
That logic makes no sense.<\/p>\n
You still chose to go out. You still chose to be served. And while you were sitting there, that table could\u2019ve been used by somebody who actually respected the work being done and tipped accordingly.<\/p>\n
Nobody is asking for your life story on the receipt. Just basic respect.<\/p>\n
